I volunteered with a small group of people in Boulder to make sandwiches and go out onto the streets to connect with the homeless people and offer them food, toiletries, water and a compassionate ear to listen to their stories and make them feel seen. It was very rewarding and such a learning experience for me. I truly saw the Divine in everyone I spoke with and loved it when their faces would light up just to have someone care.
