While on a Christmas break in Portugal, I passed a shop where a young woman was doing embroidery on her sewing machine. Inside the shop were lots of beautiful items on display. She saw me looking what she was doing, and asked me where I am from and what my name is. She wrote my name down on a piece of paper and in a few seconds my name was embroided on a piece of paper, so skilful and lovely that I will frame it at home.
And she didn't asked me any money for this, or expected that I should buy something in the shop. It was just a beautiful act of kindness.
Boas Festas from Lisbon!
