Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Homeless guy

I had just been paid and I stopped off at an ATM at a local supermarket where I withdrew £40, , £30 to loan to my son & £10 for the bits I needed to buy . On entering the supermarket I saw a young man, obviously homeless sat outside the entrance on the floor wrapped in a blanket I saw some loose change on the floor in front of him, which didn't amount to very much. After buying what I needed I gave the guy my change which was only about £2.50. When I got back to my car I felt so ashamed that I had only given this poor young man a small amount of money, I completely emptied my purse of all its loose change and returned to the young man with a handful of various coins. To me it still wasn't enough but I am glad I helped in some small way and that made me feel good inside.
