Tonight, I volunteered at a Kidney Foundation gala event, after a long 8 hour day at work. I finished work at 4:30PM, and then volunteered at this event from 5PM to 10PM.
The event was held in a downtown hotel. When my shift was done, I stopped to use the restroom before heading home. One of the hotel staff was working in the restroom. I decided to offer her the volunteer gift bag that I got at the end of the night. It had full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and other hair product.
She happily accepted the gift bag. I thanked her for her hard work and went on my way.
