Visited a friend who's land burnt completely in the massive fires here last year. He is a beekeeper who lost his bees and was lamenting having to buy honey for the first time in 12 years. He told us that he was soon to be buying new bee colonies but as we left both partner and I looked around and wondered what they would feed on as the whole landscape is black still. When we got home I messaged him and offered our land to install his new hives on until his own land recovers. Also offered to loan our empty hives to spread his costs
