Local restaurant is on a "Rescue Roll" for Fire Victims this year
One of my very favorite places to eat is once again donating 100% of their profits of their "Rescue Roll" a special piece of sushi love. In 2011 they raised serious money for the tsunami and earthquake relief in Japan.
Again in 2017 another hunk of meaningful money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey was raised and shared throughout the ravaged area through their generosity. This week they are donating all proceeds of both the Rescue Roll, as well as the cookbook by the owner, to the fire relief efforts here in California.
I am fully "rescued" and so full of gratitude for these amazing philanthropists. When in the Sacramento area, I hope that you will stop by to thank the fine folks at Mikuni's,as all of their numerous locations are involved.
