It was our village festa this week and many people come back who live elsewhere, including a couple who have a car my younger son is very excited by (I've no idea what it is, but it features in some of his games I think). He's been sneaking about, trying to take photos of it but too embarrassed to speak to the owners.
At the festa I sought out the owner's wife and told her of his obsession. Ten minutes later she had collected the keys from her husband and created an errand for herself at the car and asked my son for his 'help'. He got his photos, and came back to say how he'd got to sit inside it too :) :) :)
Simple things! I told him he could sit in my car whenever he wanted, I'd even let him wash it, but he just gave me that look that he saves to tell me how uncool I am :) :)
