Hello, kind friends! We are back from our winter Texas recharge. Grateful for every moment and memory.
Attended the Whooping Crane Fest and saw over a dozen of the highly endangered birds! Enjoyed a lecture by George Archibald, co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, plus a half day cruise to the Aransas Wildlife Sanctuary for viewing.
We were the recipient of so many kindnesses, from emergency dental surgery, seashell gifts, souvenir photo from hotel housekeeping and complimentary lunch and bus trip (courtesy of the Thankful Hubbard DAR chapter) to historical Round Top, TX.
Sally - owner of the Gratitude Shop in Port Aransas appreciated my origami gifts with a surprise gratis shopping spree along with the request, “You keep the kindness hat, because if anyone deserves that hat, it’s you!”
She knows me well, I had planned on giving that hat away. 💐 😊
