My grandmother is someone who has given me countless gifts. The biggest one that I got from her was just knowing that she lived a life without regrets. When she died she was ready to move on to whatever that next stage is. She lived a full life, loved her family deeply, and stayed active all the way into her late 80's. After she died I realized that I was not fully living my life. I was single, working, and did not have close connections outside of my family. I decided to take some risks and get out and meet people. I now have a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter, and two great stepchildren. I can only repay my grandmother by living my life as opposed to just existing on this planet.
