While having coffee at a local bakery shop with a friend, I encountered 4 young boys who came into the shop and sat at a table and ordered just cups of ice or water. The shop owners were very kind and gave them what they asked for. One of the boys had a drink and shared it with his friends. I asked the shop owner to give them each a drink of their choice since they were riding their bikes and probably were quite thirsty. I mentioned to the boy that it was very nice of him to share his drink, BTW! One young man said, "Oh, I get it! It's Thanksgiving!" When they left the shop, each boy offered a sincere Thank You. My friend and I mused that these nice guys were forging a relationship that was probably going to last for many years. I was pleased to be part of it.
