I have been blessed with so many special, precious memories that it is difficult to pick just one. However today I was reminded once again of the moment I first laid eyes on my new born grandson. His birth was a tense and prayerful time for all of us. His mother had a stroke the day before he was born. The doctors were fearful for the health and safety of both mother and child. Seeing the beautiful, healthy baby and hearing the wonderful news that my daughter in law (his mother) would make a full recovery was the most beautiful moment of my life. Although she needed help around the clock for the first few months, my daughter in law did make a full recovery and that precious baby is now a healthy, happy, awesome 9 year old.
