Today's Park Bench Adventure 🌳

Full bench today...we all had to scoot over to make room and the newcomers thanked us all so warmly. There was a couple trying to hire a cab to take them and their two bikes home from the park. They had come by bike from their home quite a distance but were unable to make it back by bike (I guess they were too tired!). When I overheard them on their phone calling with no luck, I gave them a few numbers of car services I have used. After try after try, no luck. None of the places had a large SUV or limo that could accommodate them and their two bikes. The man next to me suggested another car service and eureka, success. They wanted a pick-up address so I suggested they give the address of the house on the corner. We would have offered to drive them but our car trunk wasn't large enough to hold two bikes. Was so glad everyone pitched in with suggestions for this couple. They spent close to 45 minutes calling around. Everyone on the bench was involved and helpful. Too bad no one had a big enough vehicle :)))🚗
