A kind friend listened to my concerns about my young grandson today and then reminded me of some very good advice that I have hanging on my quote board and need to heed!
"I have had a lot of worries in my life. most of which have never happened." (Mark Twain)
Learning not worry has been a constant battle for me. I have a real tendency to imagine the worst in many situations. I have to remember that "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength" (Corrie ten Boom).
