Two Sides
The darkness of night helps us to appreciate the light of day. We treasure joy when we have experienced sorrow. When we have felt real hunger we learn to appreciate and be grateful for the food we receive. Our understanding of being love deepens when we have experienced being disliked or even hated. We treasure our life when we have witness death of someone near and dear to us. Each life has experiences of highs and lows, joy and sorrow, life and death. Through our life experiences both the good and the bad we grow and expand in our knowledge and appreciation of all that we hold dear. The two sides of the story makes it complete.
