Today we went on a couple hour drive, only about half an hour away but spent a lot of time just enjoying nature, taking pictures, and watching the sun go down. We were about to head for home when I noticed a star peeking out at me, so we slowed down, found a really dark area out in the country, and spent ages just looking into the stars. I must have seen millions tonight; we turned all our car lights off and there was noone around but me and my family. It is so enlightening and comforting when you can look into the never ending universe, knowing that God crafted it all. I'm trying not to lose that peace when reality is starting to set in, but just thinking of the millions of twinkles looking down on me really makes me feel so secure in God's hand. Nature is so calming....
