Stories of Kindness from Around the World

You May Be Thinking ...

You may be thinking why our Christmas tree is now in our kitchen. I purposefully decorated it so that the more tempting dangling type of baubles and things were middle and top. Last night I was in the middle if a lovely dream I was working on a tropical island doing sea turtle rescue (lol) when there was an almighty crash, and cat yowling. We leapt out of bed, and the Christmas tree was sprawled across the floor and the cat was hiding under the table.

Earlier in the day I had seen her lying on her back playing with the branches, kicking them with her feet and scrambling around the trunk, and had moved her away. Clearly the temptation was too big, so at 1am, we were resetting the tree into the base, cleaning up pine needles and water, and sorting out the broken ornaments. The cat was fine, no injuries. A few of the gifts were wet, but have dried out today.

There are a few less candy canes, some small visitors yesterday commented that I had 'way too many' so helped out by taking some home with them 😉
