I usually volunteer on Saturday mornings to teach religious education to 7th graders in my parish. Today the department was short staffed so I offered to take the 1st graders too. It was so exciting for me to see the older students putting their knowledge to good use and helping the younger students play Advent Bingo. In the end everyone got Tootsie Pops. Some even got chocolates and pops to share with their siblings in other classes!
