New member of the family -- Kernel Kitty :))). He was adopted today by son and his wife at the animal shelter.
A special needs cat, 13 years old and diabetic, he was slated to be euthanized, but instead will be in his new home just in time for the holidays :)). (Wonder how he will like the Christmas tree -- as per Mish and kiwi's earlier posts!)
They have 2 cats already; one is diabetic, so know how to administer shots and regulate food.
It's not an easy decision, to take on a special needs anything! So admire their kindness commitment concerning this very special kitty.
