Found out that a neighbor broke her arm yesterday so went over with a care basket of homemade food, treats, and flowers/card to cheer her. She was really surprised!
Also my car got a flat tire while driving home--managed to make it home just in time to call the emergency road service to come. It's pouring rain outside and luckily the tire change was done in the carport easily enough. Thanked the young woman who fixed it and gave her a piece of homemade apple tart to take on the road :-) Now just heading out to get the tire patched or replaced....will take a few smile cards along for fun!
