To thank a bunch of colleagues and grad students for their hard work this semester I baked each of them a mini-banana bread loaf (about a dozen in all) and put it in their mailboxes. Also organized a group lunch outing for all of us to spend some time together celebrating the end of the semester! I was very happy that one of our colleagues who usually doesn't attend these gatherings came this time, and I could tell she was glad she did.
