Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Thankyou to those of you who have taken the time to message me this last week having seen the fires in Portugal on international news. As you'll have seen from my message last night, it's been a tough week. We have been astonishingly, astonishingly lucky. The fires went through our smaller property last Saturday but the one where we live is untouched. We've been acting as a bit of an evacuation centre with the couple who live in that property, plus my friend and kids and dogs and another couple who couldn't return home all staying. There has been massive loss, both lives lost and homes and property. Now, in the aftermath, stories of kindness and heroism are filtering out. Keep central Portugal in your prayers please. We're no longer burning, but we need strength to rebuild.
