Day 1 of the Courage Challenge -- COURAGE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP

A few years ago I was a member of an on-line work group who supported each other in many ways, even though none of us had ever met face to face. The group disbanded but one of the women and I have maintained a close "virtual" friendship via email and an occasional phone call. We both talk often about finding a way to meet in person, but so fare neither of us have made any concrete effort to do this. She lives in Virginia and I live in Washington State, so it will take a lot of planning and effort to make this happen. But, I think what is really holding me back is my fear that once we meet in person, we won't really click and she won't like me. Thanks to this challenge, I have decided to take the plunge and talk to her (via phone) honestly about these fears and then begin to make actual plans.
