A JOY SHARED IS A JOY DOUBLED
An earlier post by Patjos reminded me of this little poem that a friend gave me years ago. It brightened my day way back then and continues to brighten my day now. I try to pass it on to others whenever I can:
JOY
I lost a little carefree joy
By Holding it too tightly
For joys ought never to be held
But shared with others lightly
And so the next that came to me
I passed on to another
And now it clings and clings to me,
full closer than a brother.
