Was so pleasantly surprised by a text message I received from a friend who has been going through a stressful last few months and is deep in her studies at med school.
She wrote, "I was just tagged by a stranger. He paid for my milk at the hospital :-)" And then added, "I almost cried because it was so sweet."
It made my day picturing how a small carton of milk can open someone's heart. I guess it's not so much the milk, but a stranger's belief in kindness, and how that intention rippled out to make my friend's day. :) So grateful for all of the stories, acts, and intentions of generosity that are shared on this website and in this kindness community. They keep me grounded in the potential for humans to be good. :)
