Today, a friend of mine wanted to talk to me, so I listened as she shared the story of how her family dog has been declining in health and how her mom held the pup for three hours this morning to try to soothe her.
She was having a hard time trying to go through the mix of emotions she was feeling, and I told her it was all ok and listened intently and hugged her.
When we got back to the office, her mom called and she left as their pet had gotten worse and it was time to say goodbye. I sent her a text letting her know I was holding them all in my heart and sending them Love.
I was thankful to be there in that moment and thankful she trusted me enough to share this with me.
