I have known this friend for so long we kept in touch online but we never met because we lived far away from each other ( 13 hours drive) , last month I had this internship in the city he lives at so we met :) and it was great ... when I was leaving I knew I wouldn't be seeing him for another long period, when he left to the rest room I wrote him a note a very short one full of emotions and appreciations for being the friend I needed, as I was going to take the cab I gave it to him and made him promise me to not open it until I leave, when he did he texted me saying that's the coolest gift someone have ever gave me he keeps that note in his pocket everyday, so I kept thinking about how a small act could bring this so much happiness to someone's heart, see it doesn't take expensive things to bring a smile on people's faces, symbolic simple acts can do the work :)
