More Kittens Again!


Did someone leak a memo for all strays to have their kittens on our farm? It is the world's best kept secret. Another litter of 6 kittens....one so tiny she/he fits in my palm. We're giving extra food to this little one by feeding KMR (kitten mild replacement milk) various times during the day/night. Stray momma cat, Lila, feeds the kittens on a strict schedule, but this little one needs a bit extra.

The kittens were found in our natural fern and hosta wall, among rocks and under the house overhang. We relocated them to our covered back porch where they will be safe and dry. I have an agency that will take them, get them shots, and find homes. Until then, I am fostering them. I have such experience in this after raising 2 other litters. While it takes up a lot of my time, it gives me great pleasure to see them grow and watch all of their milestones. Right now they are trying to meow or make noise, but their little mouths just open and empty air comes out. Quite adorable to watch. I believe they are just 12-14 days old.

Will keep all of you updated on their progress with pictures. BTW: the little one we are feeding is a tiny little silver tabby with blue eyes, we call her Mishy!
