I attended my youngest son, Marcus, gradeschool (the 90-year old Maquiling School near a dormant Mount Makiling volcano) Parents & Teachers Association executive committee dialogue with our Board of Trustees, Faculty Board and school administration. There have been squabbles among parents, teachers, administrators and Board officers, or so I was told as a new kid on the block (my son's on his Grade 1). I just spoke once. I told them, "We're too old (averaging 30-, 40- and 50-somethings)" to be letting each other down. I narrated to them a synergy story on children and young people that us, adults, may emulate.
