This morning I looked at the list of phone calls I want to make while off work (knowing that some will include lots of time on hold). I looked at the list and then set it aside. Not today. Today was a day for reading for pleasure. YES! I read about 3/4 of a novel -- The Meryl Streep Movie Club by Mia March. It's set in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine, which I've visited so I can "see" the scenes. It is about the relationships of four female relatives -- a mother/aunt, daughter/cousin, two orphan daughters/sisters -- and the many major changes happening in their adult lives. The aunt/mother owns a B&B where they currently all live, and she has movie night every Friday. It's Meryl Streep month and it's quite interesting how the movies they watch tie into their lives and allow them to talk about things they would probably avoid talking about normally. I'm totally engrossed but too sleepy to finish the book tonight. It's been a lovely live in a book world day.
