Just finished watching a NZ doco on our mental health system back in the 60s and 70s, pretty sad stuff but felt it was important to watch and see how far we have come. We now have consumer advocates whom were ex patients a lot of them witness to terrible acts and mistreated themselves, so very important to have these people as part of our health system to ensure the past never repeats itself again.
