Stories of Kindness from Around the World

My family was thrown into a tailspin last week when my oldest son was brutally assaulted on Valentines Day while out playing pool with friends ..He tried to stop a fight from occurring and it was unfortunately then turned on him ..THANK GOD he will eventually recover from the physical injuries and we have been able to piece most of what happened together as the police have been great ..and his spirit wounds?

Well thats why I am sharing this with you all .. is the fact that in the midst of this all I had my happiest/proudest moment as a mother when I read the following words my son wrote

"Two fractures one on each side of my jaw and one in my head a, few slices & stitches. Doctor said I got hit from all sides. Yet I am still alive and well not even a beating will damper my spirit. We live in a world of darkness and it can only be thwarted by kindness and forgiveness. If these people are found by any of my friends please punish them by letting a judge give them the time there soul needs to heal. Nobody deserves this no matter how corrupt and lost they may be. Peace and love to all. To those who assaulted me I offer you forgiveness and that one day your souls be cleansed of negativity and violence. "

I was sobbing happy tears at that point because I knew that know matter what happens he is going to be okay and they didn't damage his soul..As a mother I am working on getting to the same place of forgiveness he has so easily obtained and I will ..In the mean time I am GRATEFUL for the angels with him that evening and the ones in his life now in human form...helping him to heal
