Laundromat Clean Up

I was at the Laundromat yesterday during a storm. The power went out and my clothes were mid-cycle. There was nothing to do but wait. While waiting, I decided to tidy it up. I put the carts and magazines away, organized the bulletin board, folded the items in the lost clothes bin and picked up and disposed of dryer strips. As I finished, the power was restored and the Laundromat looked very welcoming.

200 Boxes of Love

Myself and several ladies from Sedona Kind have wrapped and decorated 200 Boxes of Love. The following poem is attached. They will be distributed to people in various places in the community such as hospice, senior homes etc. If you would like to read more about our group: SedonaKind.org.

Box Of Love

This is a very special gift
that you can never view.
The reason it’s so special is
it’s just from me to you.

Whenever you are lonely
or feel a little blue
You only have to hold this gift
and know I think of you.

Don’t unwrap it.
Please leave the ribbon tied.
Hold the box close to your heart.
It’s filled with LOVE inside!
