Discerning between the 'To Do' and the 'Need To"

--by brindlegirl, posted Apr 5, 2016
I am loving lately how much I am able to discern between what is important and what is not. Choosing love and the path that leads to the highest of good.

Take this morning for example. I wanted to be up early and out of the house at a decent time. I had lots to do today and starting earlier and getting out as soon as possible was a must.

Until ....

I saw my boys setting up a game of snakes and ladders. And right then I knew what the right thing to do was. Sit down and play with them, so I did. *My plans* could wait 20 minutes.

Those 20 minutes were much better spent enjoying my babies.
