Survival Kits For Healthcare Provideers

--by AnnC, posted Apr 14, 2016
Survival Kits for Healthcare Providers: A few days ago, I saw a post from a fellow KS member talking about gift bags for the nursing staff at a hospital or nursing home. It got me thinking about the wonderful staff at the Assisted Care home I visit on a regular basis. So I found this run "survival kit" idea and purchased the items to make several of them. I am putting the kits together tonight and will deliver them to the staff tomorrow. These are the items I am including:all which all came from the Dollar Tree.

- A package of mints: A reminder that you are WORTH A MINT
- Roll of lifesavers: To remind you of the many times you have been one
- Rubber Bands  Because you often are called upon to stretch yourself beyond your limits
- A Package of Band-Aids - For when things get a little rough (I found smiley face ones)
- A package of Happy Face Stickers: to remind you smiling is contagious
- A box of tea- To remind you to take time and relax from life's daily stresses.
- A small bag of Hershey "Hugs": Because you deserve them from all
- A box of matches: To light your fire when you're feeling burned out
- A roll of string: To tie things together when everything falls apart
- A piece of Rope:To hang onto when you reach the end of yours
- A Puzzle Piece: Without you things wouldn't be complete
- A small box of crayons: To color your day bright and cheerful
- Tylenol: Thank you, I know this job can be a headache
- A jar of bath salts:  To remind you to take care of yourself after a long day of giving to others
