Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Love and Randomness

--by brindlegirl, posted Dec 22, 2016
So all the charity Christmas cards have started arriving again and this year I've decided to take up a challenge. My own challenge. One I did a few years back. The challenge is this.

To write at least one Christmas card a day (preferably more) which are full with love, hope and encouragement. Spreading joy and company for the lonely.

I send them at random or place them in places where they will be found almost immediately.

Inside the card I insert lottery tickets, scratch cards or $20 gift vouchers. I explain in the card that I don't know the person and that I have chosen them by random from the online phone directory. Or left the card here for them to find.

It's so much fun and I trust in the universe and God that I'll always be led to the address and person that needs the card most.

So far I have written 3. So much love in each one. All I need do now is find a gift card or purchase a lottery card and post.

Christmas isn't always full of love. For some people it's quite the opposite. Which is why I like to think receiving a Christmas card and some love from someone at random, will bring hope into their lives. Because the world is a great place, a wonderful place 💖
