We had three wild newborn kittens outside our house. They grew up somewhere else but the mother cat brought them in at some point. The day came when the three kittens disappeared. We didn't know what happened. We thought someone had liked them and taken them.
However, a few days turned into a week. They were still gone. Then, we found the three kittens by pure chance, they were walking by the streets in a far area of the village very late at night. How they got here was beyond us; the village was very busy with a lot of cars in the morning.

How did they get there while still being safe and still being together? We had no idea. Our guess was they had a habit of following one another. When one cat ran, the other two cats would follow. They were walking here and there, unsure of the direction but where one kitten went, the other would follow and they would not leave one another.
They were crying out. Usually kittens do that when hungry. We wonder again how had the three kittens survived so far? Or, were these the same kittens? We tried calling out to them and catching them but unfortunately they were wild kittens and would not come near us. We had another idea; we decided to bring the mother cat.
We were not sure if they were the same cats, but upon setting down the mother cat in front of them, slowly they approached one another. Mama cat met with baby cats. Touched noses. Yes! It was her children! Her long lost children!
The mother cat began leading the way back to our home. We observed them as we walked with them. It was such a cute sight! Three white kittens following a pure white mother. With the three little cats walking behind the mama cat, they are finally reunited after a week.
Boy were the kittens hungry when they got home! We are just relieved that the three cats are safe and sound at home.
