I was in my car waiting in line to pay the toll charge. I had just had some sad news about a family member being sick so I was feeling very down as I pulled up to the booth. When I rolled down my window, the toll collector told me that the car in front of me had paid my toll fare for me. He must have seen that I was upset and said that he hoped I felt better – even though he didn’t know me.
They are just a small things but they really meant a lot to me.
