10: What Is The Earth Telling Us? Tune In.

I've known every cosmonaut and every astronaut...without exception, every one of them cannot get over the beauty of seeing planet Earth. It just takes your breath away and you just cannot take your eyes off the Earth. --Joseph Allen

What Is The Earth Telling Us? Tune In.: In this challenging time for humanity, nature is getting a break from humans' energetic consumption of her ecosystems. The earth is getting an opportunity to restore her balance. Swans and dolphins have appeared in Venice, as have peacocks in some big capitals of the world. Many are expressing joy seeing the results from the decreased pollution into our rivers, lakes and oceans. This reduction of pollutant sources has also resulted in cleaner air and blue skies in many previously polluted regions around the world. Stanford University researchers estimate that 77,000 lives are saved by emissions reduction in China alone. This crisis is a reminder of our enormous collective capacity to act for the benefit of all, in the face of a global emergency. What would we be capable of if we consider the climate emergency the same way? What would governments and organizations do? What can inspire similar collective actions at all levels of society? What do you not want to "go back to" when you step out of quarantine? Today, write down what habits you can change and what small steps you can take to help restore and protect this beautiful planet. :)
