Life Without Colour
The world around is filled with a vast array of colours and textures. Imagine a world that was various shades of gray, dull and lifeless. The colour of the earth beneath our feet would be similar to the sky above. There would be no vibrant yellows, blues, reds and oranges flowers. The trees would also be dull and boring hues, the only differences would come from the light of the sun as it creates shadows. Often we take for granted what is there for us to enjoy. Each day gives us an opportunity to enjoy, savour and appreciate the colours of the world around us and to feel its textures. The soil beneath our feet is brown and soft. The sky above us is clear and blue. The sun shines down on us with its golden light. The light of the full moon is bright and beautiful. The foods we eat are rich in not only nutrition, but colours to enhance our eating experience. There is an abundance of colour in the world around us we just need to open our eyes and see them.
