❤️we Filled Our “kindness ...

❤️We filled our “kindness buckets” again yesterday with a program at the library! 💦

Rajni talked about Positive Thinking, citing examples of the same, and how it continues to impact and make a positive difference in his life. He encouraged all to read the book, “The Power of Positive Thinking,” by Norman Vincent Peale.

Thea read aloud “Thank You, Omu,” a Cadelcott Medal winner children’s book, about Omu, a grandma, who cooks a big pot of thick red stew that draws the entire neighborhood in for a bowl. At dinnertime Omu has an empty pot, but then everyone returns with something to share with Omu.

Everyone chose an origami bucket to hold over their head as I read “How Full is Your Bucket?” and said the word “bucket.” The participants then decorated the buckets with various cut-outs, markers, and filled with their choice of Rajni quote cards, Peace doves, positive “drops” and candy.

The best part was that all the buckets were made with the intention to give away! And most made more than one :)))).

While we were in the library, a HUGE storm came thru, causing a mini-flash flood down the road and pea-sized hail. We joked how our buckets became too full and overflowed :))).

So very grateful for the library’s support, appreciation of Rajni (that’s Doris Ann, head librarian, gifting reusable bags to Rajni), inspiration to donate “How Full is Your Bucket” to the library, my wonderful helpers, and YOUR kind encouragement, my friends!
