Transcript of call:
Leolday/Carol transitioned April 18th, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was an active member of KindSpring since Sept 1, 2013
A constant encourager, mentor and supporter of so many, including me, Carole’s legacy lives on, through each of us that she lovingly guided with humor and grace.
She adored her cat Marley who preceded her in death, and the many ferals she cared for. Leolady was an avid reader and tutor. She gave candy canes and cookies to the post office staff during the holidays, sent goodie packages ranging from incense and books to coloring and crafting supplies; always seeking to help us learn more; to enjoy the creative expansion of whatever made each of us happy 😊.
I’d like to read the poem that Carole contributed to our KindSpring “Imagine” booklet:
Exhale
The door beckons to me,
Come in.
We have shelves and shelves of knowledge awaiting you.
The quiet, the peace.
The book to devour.
The people all nestled in the confines of their own stories.
Which land will I travel to today?
Which historical event will I explore?
So many choices leave me
excited to escape into someone else’s life
even if only for a little while.
Breathe In Love
Exhale Gratitude

Even with the constant pain and suffering of her illness, leolady thought of others. In fact her last text with me was concerning our mutual KindSpring friend, kmbhai, asking about his welfare after breaking his leg.
A quote from one of Carole’s posts:
“When we share our light with others, we do not diminish our own light. Rather, we increase the amount of light available to all. . . When out of gratitude we use our candle to light other people’s candles, the whole room gets brighter.”

I Give You This One Thought
I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still – I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone –
I am with you still – in each new dawn
Gratitude, love and hugs — that’s how we feel Carole now, nestled in our hearts, where there is always space for more LOVE â¤ï¸.
She shared so much LOVE, that we have faith that she is ok, enveloped in all those good feelings she made in this life, and that, my friends, is also her gift to us.
Thank you. Namaste. ðŸ™
