Helen and I are talking about the idea of having a virtual prayer circle that literally circles the globe. I couldn't find any sites set up already, so I came up with the idea to use a calendar set at GMT at 30-minute intervals.

So just for now, the prayer is for Peace and Healing of the world.
Also, 30-minute intervals are the smallest I could make. It doesn't mean you have to pray for 30 minutes, just that at that hour or half-hour you will light a candle (if you can) and pray for the world.

We were inspired by the 70,000 prayers in East Germany just before the Berlin Wall came down.

Also, pass this on! It would be amazing if we had people for every day in every half hour around the world so that the world was covered by a blanket of prayers and good thoughts.
