Racing To The Pharmacy Counter Leads To Mirthful Stepping Aside

--by Lilijourney, posted Apr 20, 2018

Earlier today one of the moms of students at our school spied me as I entered our local druggist and wellness store. As I was heading to the pharmacy counter I heard her giggling as she "raced my way".

As we both arrived in the back of the store at the same time she made a grand bow and insisted that I take a spot in line ahead of her."I defer to you", and I said "If you insist, I accept this honor" Then we both giggled.

It was a joyful break from a long day of work. Thank you for the gift of laughter in otherwise mundane encounters.
