Journey with Faith

Kindness journey started with giving Father's Day card and quote cards to bus driver.

Prayed for wellbeing of the hospital patients when bus passed by while going to New York.

Gave cookie packets and donations to needy people. I was left with one cookie packet for needy people . I could not find needy person on street. With hope and faith I found one on subway platform. Sai Baba sent me help.

Let car take turn while walk sign was there.

Put some recycles away from the road.

A young girl helped me bring my heavy luggage bag up on subway staircase. I thanked her and gave quote cards. I am grateful to her.

At Narayana Seva I gave 100 kookie packets. I helped set up table, pack rice pudding and served. Cracked some jokes with volunteers. Talked about Positive Thinking story and my experiences with one volunteer. Gave "You Matter" pins to wear and let some volunteers take them home. One person getting food asked for a pin and he was given one. Gave date sweets and sesame sweet packets to volunteers.

At grocery store I doubted and requested to check that one of the items was not scanned. I bought 2 and was charged for one. Register clerk corrected her mistake before completing the sale. Sai Baba never lets me down. I thank Him for prompting me on this honesty issue. I usually do not pay much attention.

My friend wanted me to help him at violin concert at school. I needed ride from Narayana Seva to violin concert venue. A Sai devotee does not normally bring a car to Narayana Seva, instead uses carpool all of the time. Yesterday, her daughter also came to volunteer, so they brought the car. Sai Baba sent me help even without my asking. I helped them alter one dress at their home before going to violin venue. My friend wanted me to come by 3 PM. I reached there 3 PM. Who helped me keep my time, other than Sai Baba? Faith wins.

I gave one previously made bag (as shown in image) to the lady who gave me discarded fabric samples . I also gave Father’s Day card and some quote cards.

I help put up a large banner. Gave personalized bookmarks to the musicians and the two daughters of one musician. I also gave many music and other quote cards, Mindy’s peace doves, Father's Day cards and Smile cards.

I gave many quote cards and Father’s Day cards throughout the day.

Gave date sweets, along with Father’s Day card, to my cousin’s brother, who is oldest in our extended family.

Talked about positive thinking and my experiences with bus passengers waiting in line.

While returning home, bus came 40 minutes late so I was able to see beautiful sunset on the way. After that, I slept and woke probably after 15 minutes, just about 15 seconds before Lake Road bus stop. Who other than Sai Baba knew that it is about time to alight the bus?

Happy to receive Sai Baba’s grace. I thank Him many times during the day for blessing me with help and guidance. I always think that Sai Baba will never let me down and He never does.
