We all walked up to the mailbox, during a break in the rain. Brother with a cup of coffee in hand and Merrilee with admiration for the green green tall wild grasses.
Resting on the still damp cushions, we rested. Listened to the quiet. Watched the mama and daddy mountain bluebird go into and out of their house — frantic tweeting of chicks each time. Marveled at the clouds, so near this high up in altitude.
