Inclusion - Day 7 - Listening Beyond

"Try to understand without relying on your ears. What do you notice? Does your perspective of what is 'spoken' change?"

A darkness of listening is something only imagined with eyes shut. To have a lifetime honing this listening skill in order to learn everything possible about the environment, the people and creatures that share it, is something no one could understand without living it. This video really touched my heart.

BCGJ: Day 7 - Violet
1. Violets, my grandmother's favorite flower. I found this beauty growing in my yard.
2. Drizzt's eyes.
3. Lilacs are violet, right? They smell divine. If I could only smell, and not see, they would be my favorite flower. But I cannot resist daisies -- fields of daisies. I once came upon a field of daisies with my cousin Cindy and we were completely enchanted. We spent the afternoon soaking up the beauty and the sun.
