Like most households, plastic bags seem to breed in my house, even though I refuse them in shops. But I religiously wash and reuse them where I can.
Yesterday was market day here, and we had masses of veggies to buy for our forthcoming course. I am very pleased with myself as I took stacks of recycled bags along with me and managed to do all my shopping without accepting a single additional bag. Yey me! Kindness to environment :)
Also took along all my egg boxes and gave them to one of the stall holders to use for her eggs to sell. Love to see recycling in action, and she gave me a courgette (NOooooooo!!!!!) to say thanks.
