Within the last 2 weeks, I went to a job interview at a hearing aid medical office, and gave the receptionist a genuine compliment. I let her know that I really appreciate how friendly and sincere she is and that it is refreshing. Her serious look transformed to a brief smile, and she responded with gratitude and she was glad to know that. I could tell she was trying hard at what she does and it wasn't easy to juggle, at times, perhaps. I could also sense she may have been going through something outside of work, that was weighing on her. So, in reflection, I sincerely hope it made her day and she realizes the good she brings to others.
