I’ve been big & I’ve been small. I have an ambivalent attitude toward food. If it’s there I’ll eat, if it’s not, oh well. In the past 4 years I’ve gotten more stable with my eating habits, eating on a regular basis, making that effort to have healthy food in my house at all times.

I do think the world would be a better place if healthy foods included: coffee ice cream, dark chocolate, mashed potatoes w/fried chicken pieces, corn, cheese, butter & gravy in a bowl, old fashioned donuts, licorice Jelly Bellys, Nancy Pickering (my dad’s homemake Irish Creme), my dad’s dip for chips…….none of these items are in any remote way healthy.

Grateful for:
1) Afternoon at the river w/Miss Nelly’s family yesterday
2) Walking across the suspension bridge w/no anxiety at all
3) River water was tepid, very slow moving - where we were
4) Little fish in the river were NOT piranhas
5) River bottom was dirt for the most part & easy to get down to
6) Spending time with Miss Nelly’s family
7) Miss Nelly’s grandkids treating me like an Aunty
8) Being at the river reminded of Bruce Springsteen’s song - “The River”
9) Yesterday afternoon of kind people sharing their time, area & family with me
10) Belize & my time here
11) Meeting the people in the neighborhoodY
12) Gym in the neighborhood
13) Finding a trainer to work out w/3-4 days a week
14) Experiences traveling the world - both w/my ex, friends & alone
15) Retirement
16) Possibly finding a home here in Belize
