My family, thanks to my savvy granddaughter, has reduced plastic by a lot. We take our own reusable containers to restaurants if we have food to take home, we got rid of paper plates & paper coffee filters. We use reusable containers for storing food in the frig. Also take real bags to the grocery store as opposed to plastic bags. We're getting there and hope we are setting a good example.
